Covid-19 Information:

Following on from the Prime Minister’s latest announcement we are delighted to announce the Club has now REOPENED on March 29th.
* All Group Coaching Classes have RESUMED from March 29th.
* Courts are now OPEN and bookings resumed Monday 22nd in preparation for 29th. Courts shall be busy so please bear this in mind when booking courts and remember to cancel any courts you no longer require to allow other members the chance.
* 1-2-1 Coaching Tuition shall RESUME March 29th.
* The Café shall remain unfortunately CLOSED for a little while longer.
Adult Singles/Doubles internal Box Leagues have been CANCELLED temporarily until we are confident they would not be interrupted by further Covid Restrictions. Any entries will not be counted and any entries already within the league shall receive a full refund. We shall look to restart adult competitions once we get the green light to do so.
Tennis Class Information:

* All Group Classes have RESUMED from March 29th. Both Adult & Junior sessions are permitted. Junior classes shall be limited to x15 kids. Adult classes shall be limited to x12 persons per class.
* All 1-2-1 Tuition and private coaching has RESUMED March 29th.
Floodlight Tokens: Buying floodlight tokens is possible at this time but bear in mind they can only be used up until 31st April 2021. You will need to buy tokens during the same time slot as one of our programmed group coaching classes as the Café is closed.
Social Distancing Information:

Below are the strict social distancing measures we are implementing at the club so all players remain safe and able to enjoy their tennis. Also are social distancing measures for 1-2-1 coaching and group coaching.
Stay 2 metres away from others.
Players should bring their own hand sanitiser and use before, during and after a tennis session, sanitiser is provided inside the Cafe but bear in mind the Café will be open at a significantly reduced capacity and not open certain days also.
You can play:
Singles: with one other person, not in your household (and observe all social distancing guidelines)
Doubles: x4 players from different households can now play doubles (with strict social distancing between each player). RULE OF 6 in place, no more than 6 persons mixing within a group.
Avoid gathering in groups before/after play at the gate or car park area.
Do not congregate after playing and have spectators watching you on side-lines.
Avoid using public transport to reach the club where possible.
Avoid or limit your contact with court gates, net handles, fences or benches.
Arrive changed and ready to play and do not use the Café facilities to change.
Avoid chasing the ball down on another court, allow their players to roll it back with their racket.
If you need to sneeze or cough, do so into a tissue or upper sleeve / elbow crease.
Social Distancing Guidance for 1-2-1 coaching & group coaching:
Adhere to all rules mentioned above, groups of more than 6 are permitted and allowed.
Where possible please pay your coach through a BACS online bank transfer or card payment with card machine at club. Cash is Acceptable.
Do not greet your coach with a handshake or get within a 2m distance of participants
Parents of children having lessons are welcome but please also keep your distance from the coach
Coaches shall position themselves on the other side of the net, and maintain social distancing from players. Coaches shall adapt their coaching styles and drills to accommodate these rules.
Coaches shall use fresh balls and lower basket sizes to best rotate the balls between sessions.
Cafe Information:

Due to Covid-19 the café shall be CLOSED once more, Covid has hit the Hospitality Sector very hard and we shall do our best to reopen as soon as we are able. This is unlikely to be until Late Spring 2021 however. More details to follow when appropriate
